I have had similar thoughts. When 911 happened, there was that wall of photos in NYC that allowed us to see the faces of the individuals who were killed. We learned many of their individual stories. I have not seen anything like that for the pandemic. Even just a scrolling list of those who have succumbed would be helpful in terms of wrapping our minds around what 250,000 really means. Is anyone working on such a project? So sad that the mural had to be destroyed.
